Terms of Service & License Agreement

Plain-language summary: MinPin is made by an independent developer. You get a license to use the app; you're responsible for using it lawfully and only on traffic you're authorized to inspect; it's provided "as is"; and payments are handled by Paddle as merchant of record. These Terms of Service and End-User License Agreement ("Terms") govern your use of the MinPin application ("MinPin", "the app", "the Software") and the minpinproxy.com website. MinPin is an independently developed software product, operated by its developer ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using MinPin you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

1. Who we are

MinPin is a native macOS network-debugging proxy, developed and published as an independent software product. Contact us at support@minpinproxy.com.

2. What you are buying

MinPin is offered as a free tier and a paid "PRO" tier. A PRO purchase grants a license to the PRO features as described on the pricing page at the time of purchase. We offer:

• PRO Annual — a yearly subscription license.
• PRO Lifetime — a one-time perpetual license for the major version line in effect at purchase, including updates released during that line.

3. License grant

Subject to these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use MinPin for your own lawful purposes. A license key may be used by a single user. You may not resell, sublicense, share, or publish your license key, nor circumvent the license check, reverse-engineer the Software except as permitted by applicable law, or remove proprietary notices.

4. Acceptable use

MinPin decrypts and inspects network traffic on devices you control. You are responsible for using it lawfully. You must only intercept traffic you own or are authorized to inspect, and must comply with all applicable laws, including computer-misuse, wiretap, and privacy laws. You must not use MinPin to access, intercept, or tamper with systems or data without authorization.

5. Payments & merchant of record

Payments are processed by our reseller / merchant of record, Paddle.com (or its affiliates). Paddle handles the transaction, invoicing, and applicable taxes, and your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

7. Updates

MinPin may check for and install updates via the built-in updater (Sparkle). We may release updates, fixes, and changes at our discretion. We do not guarantee any specific update cadence.

8. Disclaimer of warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Software or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your license if you breach these Terms. On termination you must stop using the Software. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of Vietnam will have jurisdiction. This does not override any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your own country of residence.
